It takes us 43 gallons of maple sap from the tree to boil it down to 1 full gallon of pure maple syrup! Wow! A labor of love and tradition.
Inspired by not only our Ohio roots in Amish Country, but our New England familial roots as well. Maple syrup is/was a tradition in the New England states, especially Vermont, where we visit family often and explore local maple sugaring operations.
Nothing! Our syrup comes from sap collected directly from maple trees, boiled down to the proper sugar density and bottled.
